Avoiding wage errors
The Fair Work Commission has released updated data extracts for the Modern Awards Pay Database, following the Annual Wage Review 2025. These updates include a 3.5% increase to both the National Minimum Wage and modern award minimum rates, effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025.
What’s New?
2025 Data extracts published - The Modern Awards Pay Database now reflects all amendments from the 2025 Annual Wage Review.
2024 Data updated - The 2024 extracts have been republished with updated 'Operative To dates' for clarity and compliance tracking.
What Employers Need to Do
Check the Database: You can download the updated data from the Modern Awards Pay Database page on our website.
Review Pay Rates: Ensure your employees are being paid no less than the new minimum rates under the relevant modern award.
Update Payroll Systems: Adjust your payroll settings to align with the updated rates to avoid any risk of underpayment.
